The Blue Devils Outdoor Track and Field team won the Jersey City Meet for the 15th time. The team also won the HCIAA Championship for the 4th year in a row. They also won the County Championship for the 5th year in a row, something that has never been done before by any boys or girls team.
The team also medaled at Penn, for the 3rd year in a row and the 11th time in 25 years.
Kimberly Hudock signed a Letter of Intent to run at Sacred Heart, while Katherine Joseph signed a Letter of Intent to run at NJIT.
Senior Amy Figueroa was a member of 16 winning teams at HCIAA meets during her four years at SDA. She ran all 12 seasons.
Kim Hudock placed 3rd in the Intermediate hurdles and qualified for her 5th Meet of Champions/State Finals to be held on June 9. Lauren Moore also placed 3rd in the 5 feet high jump. She qualified for her 2nd Meet of Champions. The 1600 meter Relay of Hudock, Joseph, West and Moore also qualified for the Meet of Champions. They finished 4th in Parochial A.
The team will compete at the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg and in North Carolina for the Outdoor Nationals.
