Dance Team
The award-winning and nationally recognized Saint Dominic Academy Dance Team has been a proud tradition at SDA since 1986. The Blue Devils have won countless State Championships as well as the National Title (POM Division) in 2016, 2017 and 2018 at the National Dance Alliance National Championships in Orlando, Florida.
The Dance Team has been recognized as a top all-around program in the State as well as in the country, exemplifying outstanding student academic achievement, sportsmanship and choreography. The team is a Charter member of the New Jersey Cheerleading and Dance Coaches Association (NJCDCA) and members have been recognized with many scholarships and All-State accolades.
The team practices at the Academy’s beautiful Siena Hall and is coached by alumnae Marie Pompeo-Maffia ’79 and Amanda Herring ’06.
Auditions are held every spring.

Building opens at 9 AM with student supervision available. Please refrain from bringing children before 9:15 AM.
SDA bus will run on a 90-minute delayed schedule.
Classes start at 10 AM following an E day schedule.
If there’s a need to close SDA tomorrow, we’ll notify the community by 6:00 AM.
