What is Naviance Family Connection?

Family Connection by Naviance is a secure, web-based college research tool that St. Dominic has been using since 2003 to assist the school and our students in managing the college selection and application processes. Students are instructed on how to do career interest inventories, as well as, searches for colleges. Naviance allows students to analyze the most up-to-date college application trends. Students are able to view how they stand as a student next to the criteria of various colleges, and to see how many past St. Dominic Academy students applied and were accepted to each school. Students are introduced to Naviance in sophomore year, and are required to utilize this website for college planning purposes throughout senior year. The Counseling Department is able to electronically send transcripts, in addition to recommendation letters, to a large amount of accepting colleges through Naviance, saving a great deal of time and paper.
