Don’t forget to bring your canned or boxed nonperishable food donations for Mercy House in Jersey City!

SFIC Summer Camp Opportunities (Applications Due January 31)The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children (SFIC) is offering two summer camp opportunities for high school students, with a limited number of fully sponsored spots. Sponsorship covers program cost and transportation. Students do not need to be SFIC tuition assistance recipients to apply.
SFIC Advanced Space Academy (July 12–17)SFIC will sponsor six current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors to attend an all-expense paid program at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
SFIC Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) Program (July 6–10)SFIC will sponsor 10 current 8th and 9th grade students to attend the PEEC summer program in Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania.
Applications and required documents are due to SFIC by January 31.See the attached materials for full details and application forms.

Please remember to submit your financial aid application for the 2026-2027 school year. Need-based financial aid must be reapplied for each year. The deadline to submit your application in FACTS is January 31.


ATHLETICS

BLUE DEVIL OF THE WEEK: Stella D ’26
Stella made a tremendous impact for the Blue Devils this week. In Tuesday’s 42-24 win over Memorial, she scored 6 points, dished out 5 assists, and played outstanding defense, holding Memorial’s leading scorer below her season average. 
On Thursday, Stella was once again a difference-maker, contributing 6 points and 4 assists in a hard-fought 44-43 game against Union City. Her relentless defense and selfless play continue to inspire her teammates and have helped drive SDA to an impressive 8-3 start this season.
