MEDQUEST Junior Scholar-Leaders Achieve Clinical Certification

This past Tuesday, Saint Dominic Academy proudly celebrated an exciting milestone for our MEDQUEST junior scholar-leaders. They were awarded their Electrocardiography Technician (ECG) certifications.
This is an incredible achievement that qualifies them to work as certified ECG technicians while still in high school, providing invaluable real-world experience that will enhance their college education and set them on a path to a STEM future.
This accomplishment reflects not only their dedication and hard work, but also the strength of SDA’s commitment to empowering young women in the medical field. We are so proud of these scholar-leaders for reaching this major achievement and taking meaningful steps toward their future careers in healthcare.

Scholar-Leaders Inducted into National Honor Societies

This past week, Saint Dominic Academy proudly celebrated the induction of our scholar-leaders into a several prestigious National Honor Societies. During a special ceremony held on April 30, students were recognized for their exceptional achievements across disciplines including art, world languages, mathematics, science, and overall academic excellence.
Each honor society reflects a commitment not only to scholarship, but also to leadership, service, and character: core values that define the SDA experience. We commend these students for their hard work and dedication, and we look forward to the continued impact they will make within our school community and beyond.





SDA’s May Crowning Celebration
Faculty, staff, and scholar-leaders gathered at the statue of the Blessed Virgin for Saint Dominic Academy’s annual May Crowning Service.Julia Hester ’26 honored Mother Mary as Queen of Heaven, placing a beautiful floral crown upon her. The community reflected on God’s Word and joined together in prayer, reciting the Hail Mary in English, Spanish, French, Filipino, and Latin.The May Crowning acts as a powerful reminder that the true strength of Saint Dominic Academy lies in God’s grace and mercy.

2025–2026 Athletic Banquet: Event Information
Saint Dominic Academy will host its annual Athletic Banquet on Monday, May 18, to recognize the accomplishments of our student-athletes during the 2025–2026 school year.
The evening will include the presentation of awards and certificates, as well as recognition of the dedication, teamwork, and perseverance demonstrated by our Blue Devils throughout the season.
The event will take place at The Chandelier Catering in Bayonne, NJ, and is open to student-athletes, families, and supporters.
