Travel to a Biome
Biology students explored Earth’s major biomes through a project-based learning experience. They researched specific biomes and locations, then developed persuasive travel presentations highlighting climate, wildlife, plant life, landforms, and notable natural features. To enhance their presentations, students constructed detailed 3-D biome models with labeled plants, animals, and abiotic factors. This hands-on project deepened their understanding of ecosystems while fostering creativity, research skills, and scientific modeling. The outcomes were both informative and impressive.
