SDA Recognizes Our New Honor Society Inductees

SDA is proud to announce that the following students have been named members of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta.

The National Honor Society (NHS) exemplifies a student’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These four pillars have been associated with membership in the organization since its inception in 1921.  To be considered for induction a student must have a career average GPA of 3.5 or higher.  

Class of 2020: Dafna Banach, Fiona Erebor, Gianna Farulla, Yasmine Idrissi, Annabel Payamps, Makaela Santos

Class of 2021: Olivia Aidukas, Avery Aquino, Milani Bethel, Amanda Diaz, Charlotte Hennessey, Gabriella Lamantea, Caroline O’Donnell, Jennifer Parra, Gabriella Playa, Julianna Sabia, Olivia Smith, Kayla Sullivan

The Math National Honors Society or Mu Alpha Theta is comprised of students that have taken Algebra I and Geometry and have enrolled in or have completed a third year of mathematics.  To be considered a student must have an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher in math.
